With each Grand River Conference victory, the Pattonsburg Panthers are becoming a greater threat in the race for a GRC West championship in 2018. Chase Roberts’ team, on Friday night, backed up a home field win against North Andrew in Week 3 with a decisive triumph at King City. With the Panthers offense running at full throttle, the stiffest test of the season now approaches for PHS, a trip to Stanberry on Friday night to play a Bulldog squad renowned for its tough physical style and stingy defense.

After this week’s game, Pattonsburg will have two non-conference games and two conference games (at Worth County, vs. Albany) left in the regular season. Pattonsburg currently sits in first place in the Panthers district standings heading into the Stanberry game.
