Unlike 2020, when a team unable to play due to COVID-19 protocols resulted in a “canceled/no contest” for either team involved in the game, this season, the Pac-12 Conference has ruled that a game not played due to the same issues will mean a forfeit for the team hit by the virus, and a win for their opponent.

In early August, the Pac-12 announced that regular COVID-19 testing will not be a requirement for those that have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.  In addition, vaccinated will not need to quarantine after an exposure.  Regular testing will remain a requirement for those within the football program that remain unvaccinated.
