The Northwest Missouri State Bearcats will travel to Durham, North Carolina on Friday, October 27th, playing the powerhouse Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium.  The game is a tradition of sorts at Duke, a program that has hosted the reigning Division Two national champion in exhibition play for many years.  Northwest won the D-2 title on March 25th in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, taking down Fairmont State in a 71-61 final score, giving the Bearcats their first national crown in program history.  A time for the Bearcats game at Duke has not yet been announced.

The Blue Devils recruiting train showed no signs of slowing down this offseason, with the Class of 2017 ranked second in the country, with five of the top 68 players in the U.S., including Trevon Duval, the No. 5 player in the country, according to 247 Sports, and the No. 6 player in power forward Wendell Carter. Shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. is the No. 16 player in the nation. Star guard Grayson Allen also returns to Duke for his senior season.
