Golf will be added to the sports programs at North Central Missouri College. Money has been allocated in NCMC’s new budget to finance the costs associated with beginning a women’s and men’s golf program. This will be an addition to an athletics program that already includes women’s softball, men’s baseball, women’s basketball, and men’s basketball.

In other news, the NCMC Foundation will be sponsoring a benefit golf tournament on Friday, September 2nd at the Green Hills Golf Course in northern Chillicothe. The tournament is held on a rotating basis between Trenton and Chillicothe.

The golf tournament will consist of three-person teams that will play in a scramble format. The shotgun start is at 10 AM on September 2nd, playing the 18 hole course at Green Hills.
