In a basketball game heard Tuesday on KGOZ 101.7 FM, the North Central Missouri College lady pirates lost to Pima Community College of Arizona, 69 to 66.
It was an opening round game in the national junior college, division two, women’s basketball tournament being played in Port Huron, Michigan.
NCMC had a final three-point shot to tie the game but it was missed, and the game clock expired. NCMC falls into the consolation bracket of the double-elimination tournament.
