NJCAA to televise D-1 football championship game on ESPNU

The NJCAA has announced an agreement with ESPNU to televise the Division I football championship game to be played at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday, December 14th at 7:00 PM.

The announcement on the championship game broadcast added to the news between the NJCAA and the ESPN family of networks, with a multi-year rights agreement, beginning with the 2022-2023 year, to nationally televise championship games for D-1 men’s and women’s basketball, and selected D-1 regular season games on ESPN+.

The NJCAA will also carry, on ESPN+, a “Football Game of the Week”, will the first five weeks featuring Snow vs. Trinity Valley on Thursday, August 25th, New Mexico Military vs. Snow on Saturday, September 3rd; New Mexico Military vs. Navarro on September 10th; Tyler vs. Trinity Valley on September 17th; and Mississippi Gulf Coast vs. East Mississippi on (Thursday) September 22nd.  Additional matchups will be announced as the season progresses, with those announcements coming two weeks in advance of the game.
