Spots are still available for the upcoming Winter Warm-Up Baseball Coach’s Clinic that the NCMC baseball staff will be hosting on Sunday, February 5th in collaboration with the Kansas City Royals Amateur Development System.
In addition, a pair of door prizes will be up for grabs for coaches in attendance. Winners of two autographed baseballs, one from Brady Singer and the other from Scott Barlow, each of whom are current pitchers on the Kansas City Royals, will be announced during the clinic.
The event February 5th will be held at the Ketcham Center in Trenton starting at 9:00 am. The clinic is designed to meet the needs of all coaches—novice, youth, high school, and college-level. The clinic will cover a variety of baseball topics including practice organization, pitching, fielding, and hitting. Discussions will focus on mechanics and philosophy plus the sharing of ideas, drills, and tips. Breakout sessions will be available for all levels of coaching which will be designed to cover the basics up through advanced instruction.
Clinic speakers will include Mike Arbuckle, John “Duke” Wathan and Shon Plack from the Kansas City Royals plus the NCMC coaching staff of Donnie Hillerman, Ryan Suttenfield and Jared Fry.
