The men’s golf team at North Central Missouri College finished 4th out of five schools in the Evangel Spring Invitational, contested last weekend in Springfield, Missouri.
The Pirates top finisher was Lewis Hopkinson, with a two-day score of 17 over par, good for a tie for 16th place in the 30-man field. Other scores turned in by NCMC were Scott Swayne at 18-over, Easton Klaver and Jasper van der Zon both at 20-over, Cody Glenn at 21-over par, Nate Swann at 23-over, and James Gardner at 31-over.
The Pirates, with Coach Craig Sager saying that the “mental side” of his team’s game needing work this week, will next be in action on Friday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 24th, playing at the Graceland University Spring Invitational in Lamoni, Iowa.
