North Central Missouri College will be hosting a Baseball Coaches Clinic on Sunday, January 23rd in the Ketcham Community Center. The clinic will be geared towards coaches but open to high school players as well. Clinic presenters will cover a variety of baseball topics including pitching, fielding, base running and hitting. Discussions will focus on mechanics and philosophy plus the sharing of ideas, drills and tips. There will be time to ask questions to any/all of the panel members during a hot stove discussion session.
Clinic speakers will include Mike Arbuckle, retired Senior Advisor to the General Manager for the Kansas City Royals. Mike has worked in professional baseball, in numerous capacities, since 1977. His wealth of knowledge is beneficial to all coaches and players. Also speaking will be Les Norman, a former Kansas City Royals outfielder and current podcast host and motivational speaker. He will dive into hitting from both a mechanical and mental approach standpoint. The NCMC Pirates coaching staff of Donnie Hillerman, Ryan Suttenfield and Jared Fry will present at the clinic as well.
