The North Central Missouri College Pirates continue to add athleticism to their baseball recruiting class, announcing the addition to Cameron Gardner, a senior from Blue Valley West High School in Overland Park, Kansas to the Pirates 2017-2018 roster.
NCMC head coach Donnie Hillerman, speaking about Gardner, spoke about his newest recruits “athletic tools”, including a “mid-to-upper 80s fastball”, a bat that has the ball “jump”, and having the physical ability to play multiple positions, including infield.
Gardner will join a Pirates 2018 roster that includes a strong group of returning freshmen that helped lead the Pirates to a 6th place regular finish in the nine-team NJCAA Region 16 standings.
