The Tennessee Titans scored on their first five possessions of a surprisingly easy 27-3 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon in Nashville.

Ryan Tannehill threw for 270 yards and a touchdown, while running for a score for Tennessee, as the Titans improved to 5-2 with back-to-back home wins against the Bills and the Chiefs, the two AFC teams that met in last January’s AFC title game.

Kansas City continues to struggle to find the consistency on both sides of the ball from the last three seasons, with the team dropping to 3-4, and just 1-4 against AFC opponents.  The three point performance by the Chiefs offense is the franchise’s worst showing since a 38-3 loss to Denver in December 2012.

Patrick Mahomes turned over the football twice for Kansas City, with the Tennessee defense producing four sacks.  Mahomes, injured by a high-low combo hit in the fourth quarter, finished with 206 yards passing.  Mahomes did pass concussion protocols and should be healthy to play against the Giants next Monday night at Arrowhead Stadium.
