Missouri’s Southeastern Conference schedule was released Tuesday, featuring 18 conference games, including matchups against former Big 12 foes Oklahoma and Texas.
The Tigers will play home-and-away series against Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt, with the Razorbacks and Sooners as permanent opponents. The third home-and-away opponent will rotate each season, starting with the Commodores in 2024-25.
The SEC has expanded to 16 teams with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas but maintains an 18-game schedule. The format has changed from three permanent rivals to two permanent rivals and one rotating opponent.
Missouri will visit Norman, Oklahoma, on March 4 or 5 and host the Sooners on Feb. 11 or 12. The teams last met in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, with Oklahoma winning 72-68.
The Tigers will travel to Texas on Jan. 21 or 22, their first meeting since 2012 when Missouri won 84-73 under former coach Frank Haith, now an assistant coach for the Longhorns.
Missouri’s SEC schedule begins with a road game against Auburn on Jan. 4, seeking its first SEC regular-season win since March 4, 2023.
New Arkansas coach John Calipari will return to Mizzou Arena on Jan. 18. Calipari previously coached at Kentucky and will face the Tigers again in Fayetteville on Feb. 22.
The Tigers will host Texas A&M and South Carolina, both 2024 NCAA Tournament teams, on Feb. 8 and Feb. 25, respectively. Alabama, fresh from a Final Four appearance, will visit Mizzou Arena on Feb. 18 or 19.
The regular season concludes with a home game against Kentucky and new coach Mark Pope on March 8, a game with potential postseason implications.
Missouri aims to rebound from a winless conference record in 2023-24 and return to its 2022-23 form, when it went 11-7 in the SEC.
