After being involved very heavily in the transfer decision of former Moberly Area Community College Greyhound Jimmy Bell Jr. from West Virginia University, the Missouri Tigers were spurned by the 6’10” center, who visited Mississippi State University and quickly committed to the Bulldogs program, cancelling a mid-week visit to Mizzou.

Bell, in one season at WVU, averaged 4.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.  Before his time in Morgantown, Bell spent two seasons at Saint Louis University and one at JUCO Moberly.  With Missouri adding 7’0″ center Jordan Butler as a true freshman next season, the Tigers remain in search of frontcourt size heading into the 2023-2024 season.
