Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III is expected to practice this week and play in Saturday’s home game against Auburn, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Burden suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against Massachusetts and did not return.
Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz declined to update Burden’s status after the game, citing the SEC-mandated injury report on Wednesday.
The status of running back Nate Noel (back injury) and linebacker Khalil Jacobs (upper-body injury) remains uncertain.
In other news, the SEC announced that the kickoff time for Missouri’s Week 9 game at Alabama will be 2:30, 3:15, or 6:30 p.m. and will air on ABC or the SEC Network.
Missouri’s athletic department also provided updates on navigating construction around Memorial Stadium, including:
  • Parking Lot B is closed for the season
  • Ticket office near Gate 1 is closed on game days
  • Fans should enter from the west side (Gates 2W-6W) if parking in lots C, D, G, H, Q, R, T, U, Y, or Truman’s Landing
  • Fans should enter from the east side (Gates 2E-6E) if parking in lots I, J, K, M, N, O, P, or M-ADA
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Memorial Stadium Improvement Project will be held before Mizzou’s regular-season finale against Arkansas on Nov. 30.
