Mizzou women earn SEC road win at Vanderbilt

The Missouri women picked up another superb performance from senior forward Sierra Michaelis (Mercer, MO), who racked up 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks, in a 74-68 victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores at Memorial Gym in Nashville, Tennessee.

Freshman Jordan Chavis hit all four of her three point attempts in finishing with 12 points in 26 minutes, while fellow freshman Amber Smith hit for 12 points while adding four rebounds.

Sophomore Cierra Porter had 16 points in scoring in double figures for the 17th time in 19 outings this season.

The Tigers, now 12-7 overall, and 2-3 in SEC play, will host Texas A&M on Thursday night at 8 o’clock at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
