Missouri women’s basketball coach Robin Pingeton secured the Tigers’ first commitment of the 2024 transfer cycle with former New Mexico and Syracuse guard Nyah Wilson announcing her commitment on X (formerly Twitter).
A McDonald’s All-American nominee in the Class of 2021, Wilson played two seasons with Syracuse before transferring to New Mexico. There, she excelled, averaging 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, earning Mountain West Newcomer of the Year honors.
With several key players leaving or graduating, Wilson’s experience and scoring ability make her a valuable addition to a Mizzou program aiming to regain its NCAA Tournament spot after a five-season absence.
