Missouri’s season opener is set for Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. against Memphis at FedExForum.
Coach Dennis Gates expressed hopes that the early game experience will benefit his younger players, helping alleviate early-season jitters and anxiety.
Gates sat graduate student Tony Perkins, an Iowa transfer, as a precautionary measure. Every other freshman and scholarship player saw court time, except redshirt freshmen Danny Stephens and JV Brown.
