Mizzou softball adds Texas prep standout to program

Infielder Adi Koller has been signed by University of Missouri softball Head Coach Larissa Anderson. Koller, a recent graduate of Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana, Texas, will be joining Mizzou’s softball program.

During her final two years at Pleasant Grove, Koller received recognition as the all-district defensive MVP and all-district offensive MVP. In her sophomore year, she was honored with a spot on the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team and secured first-team all-district recognition.

In her senior year, Koller demonstrated exceptional performance with a .514 batting average, an .858 slugging percentage, and a .512 on-base percentage. Her stats also included 37 RBI, 44 runs, 14 triples, eight doubles, and three home runs. Throughout her high school career, Koller consistently maintained a batting average higher than .411.

Contributing to the success of Pleasant Grove’s softball team, Koller played a part in consecutive regional semifinal finishes and an area finalist finish in her senior season.

Koller showcased her talent in other sports as well, earning all-district honors in volleyball and basketball for the Hawks. Additionally, she played for the Excel Elite Burns and Athletics NTX Robinson club teams in Fort Worth during the summer of 2023, achieving an impressive .667 batting average and a .750 on-base percentage.
