The Missouri Tigers preseason camp opened for business for the 2018 season on Friday, with wide receiver Harry Ballard not on the roster.  Head Coach Barry Odom told the assembled media that Ballard, a St. Louis (McCluer North H.S.) native, was away from the team on a “personal issue”, adding that he hopes the Tigers can get Ballard “back in camp quick”.

Rumblings from MU indicate that Odom, hoping for a stronger start than last year’s struggles from September that included embarassing home losses to Purdue and Auburn, will put the team through more early “11-on-11” live action drills.  Much of the anticipation for Missouri this season revolves around returning All-SEC first-team quarterback Drew Lock:

Missouri opens the season against Tennessee-Martin on Saturday, September 1st at Faurot Field in Columbia.
