The University of Missouri men’s basketball program will play a total of 18 games in the Southeastern Conference for the 2021-2022 season, with the SEC announcing opponents as a first step before an “official” schedule release (with times and dates) on Wednesday.
Notable on this year’s schedule is Missouri playing home-and-away games with the Arkansas Razorbacks, Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas A&M Aggies, and both schools from the state of Mississippi, the Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs. Of the eight remaining schools in the SEC, four will visit Mizzou Arena in Columbia, with Missouri playing the other four on the road.
The four SEC schools not playing in Columbia this season will be Kentucky, LSU, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt, while Missouri will host, but not travel to play, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Times, dates, and television information will be announced at a later date, with schedule specifics, after that time, available from the “sports calendar” section of KTTNSports.com.
