The University of Missouri softball program, led by coach Larissa Anderson, has finalized its coaching staff for the 2022 season, announcing the hiring of Hanna Chait as the Director of Softball Operations, and Amber Fiser and Kristin Hallam as graduate assistants.

Chait arrives in Columbia after spending the 2020-2021 season as the Assistant Director of Operations for the Indiana University baseball program in Bloomington, Indiana.  In a release provided by MU, Chait praised Coach Anderson, saying, “I can’t wait to help build a championship program and I can’t thank Coach Anderson enough for this opportunity.”

Both Fiser and Hallam come to Mizzou recently removed from their playing careers.  Fiser was a first-team All-American pitcher at the University of Minnesota, helping to lead the Golden Gophers to the 2019 Women’s College World Series with a record of 31-9.

Hallam played collegiately at Hofstra, two of those under Coach Anderson.  She departed that CAA school after five years as the all-time leading base stealer in the history of the program.
