COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team snapped its 20-game losing streak Friday night, defeating Howard 77-62 at Mizzou Arena.

Game Summary

Missouri (1-1) used a 14-3 second-half run to pull away from Howard (0-2). Junior forward Aidan Shaw’s pass to graduate center Josh Gray sparked the run, culminating in a two-handed slam dunk and a 44-31 lead.
Tamar Bates led the team with 17 points, adding four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Mark Mitchell scored 16 points, and Anthony Robinson II added 13.
