Head coach Kerrick Jackson of the Mizzou baseball team has made several additions to his coaching staff. One notable addition is Tim Jamieson, a former MU fall of famer who returns to Columbia after serving as the pitching coach under Jackson at Memphis last season. Jamieson brings extensive coaching experience, having previously served as Mizzou’s head coach from 1995-2016. During his tenure, he achieved numerous accolades, including being named the 1996 Big 8 Coach of the Year and the 2007 Big 12 Co-Coach of the Year. Jamieson led the Tigers to multiple successful seasons, including seven consecutive NCAA postseason appearances from 2003 to 2009.
Another addition to Jackson’s staff is Jabari Brown, who joins after working with one of the nation’s top programs, Vanderbilt, for the past two years. Brown was the recipient of Vanderbilt’s Maggie Corbin Minority Baseball Apprenticeship and gained valuable experience in various aspects of coaching and program development. Brown was part of Vanderbilt’s SEC Tournament championship team in 2023.
The third addition is Bryson LeBlanc, a former Tiger student-athlete who played on NCAA Regional-qualifying teams under Jamieson in 2005 and 2006. LeBlanc returns to Columbia after serving as an assistant coach at UC San Diego for the past five seasons.
With these new additions to the coaching staff, Jackson aims to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Mizzou baseball program.
