The Southeastern Conference office, on Monday, announced that the Missouri Tigers football game with the North Texas Mean Green on Saturday, October 9th will kickoff at 3 o’clock, with a 1 o’clock pregame on KTTN FM 92.3 and the Central Bank Tiger Radio Network. The game will be shown nationwide on the SEC Network.
The game, Mizzou’s annual Homecoming contest at Faurot Field, will serve as the middle contest of a tripleheader on the SEC Network, with Vanderbilt playing at Florida at 11 o’clock and LSU battling the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington at 6:30.
CBS is using its extension window before deciding on its 2:30 telecast on October 9th, with the choices between Arkansas at Ole Miss and Georgia at Auburn. Both the Razorbacks and Rebels face significant road tests this week, with Arkansas at Georgia and Ole Miss at Alabama, with CBS executives likely waiting on those results before making their final decision. Whichever game CBS passes on will go to an 11 o’clock kickoff on ESPN.
South Carolina at Tennessee will battle at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville at 11 o’clock on ESPN, with Alabama playing at Texas A&M at 7 o’clock in the backend of the CBS college football doubleheader.
