University of Missouri freshman lineman J’Marion Gooch will apparently lose a chance to play at the collegiate level before his career even had a chance to begin. On Thursday, MU coach Eli Drinkwitz revealed that Gooch, a native of Tennessee, had been “medically disqualified” to play in Columbia due to an issue that cropped up during a recent physical exam.
Rated by 247Sports as the #15 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee in the 2021 recruiting cycle, Gooch was deemed as the #52 offensive tackle in the country by the same organization.
