The Missouri Tigers have announced the addition of linebacker Blaze Alldredge to the 2021 football roster, with the former Rice Owl joining Mizzou as a grad transfer, with one year of eligibility to play in the SEC.

Alldredge comes to Columbia as a highly-acclaimed player at Rice University, a school in Houston, Texas.  In Conference USA, he has been named a first-team selection in both 2019 and 2020, racking up 214 tackles, six sacks, and two interceptions in three seasons at Rice, including a COVID-19 shortened five game campaign in 2020.

Coming out of high school, Alldredge went the JUCO route to begin his collegiate career, playing at Los Angeles Pierce College in California.  Due to the NCAA’s ruling of the 2020 season being a ‘free’ season of eligibility for student-athletes, he had the option of becoming a grad transfer for one more season of college football.
