The Missouri Tigers, according to a report from FBSchedules.com, have added a football game against in-state rival Missouri State on September 3, 2033.  The game will be played at Faurot Field in Columbia, and represented the second contest in the contracted series, with the first set for 2029.

MSU will receive approximately $500,000 for each game against the Tigers.  Although the share the same state, Missouri State and Mizzou have had football programs on different levels, meaning very few historical meetings between the teams from Springfield and Columbia.  In 2017, Mizzou won a high-scoring affair with MSU, 72-43, only the second all-time meeting between the schools.

This year’s Tiger team will open the season on Saturday, September 4th, hosting Central Michigan at Faurot Field.
