The Milan Lady Wildcats softball team, preparing for a lengthy road trip west on Highway 6 to Maysville, will be taking a six-game winning streak into their fourth Grand River Conference game of the season, while the Milan football team makes a shorter trek to Princeton on Friday night to took to ‘tame the Tigers’, in a game to be heard on KTTN FM 92.3.
Last Friday night, Milan’s young Wildcats took it on the chin, playing a very strong state-ranked South Callaway team on the road, while the Lady ‘Cats won at Polo last Thursday, dominated three games in Saturday’s Milan Tournament, slipped by Brashear on Monday night 2-1, and rallied for a 10-9 win over the visiting Princeton Lady Tigers on Tuesday.
