The Milan Lady Wildcat softball team, despite showing some signs of improvement between Gallatin and Putnam County, fell to 0-2 in the Grand River Conference with an 11-1 loss in Unionville last week. Meanwhile, the rainy conditions of late week have postponed the Milan Softball Tournament from Saturday, September 7th to Saturday, September 28th, with the Lady ‘Cats welcoming Novinger, Green City, and Grundy R-5 to Legion Field that weekend.
Originally aired on Thursday, September 6th at 5:35, here is the weekly interview with Lady ‘Cats Coach Nathan Dodson on KTTN FM 92.3.
“The Nathan Dodson Show” (Milan Lady Wildcat softball):
The Milan football team is beginning to show some of the characteristics evident in teams that are capable of making a long postseason run. Veteran leadership and physical ability have led the Wildcats to a 3-0 start to the season, including a 21-0 shutout of Mark Twain in a Week 2 test on August 31st. At the time, with a road trip to Maysville looming for Coach John Dabney on Thursday, we caught up with the veteran leader of the Milan football program for our weekly interview, originally aired on September 6th at 5:45 PM.
