The North Mercer Lady Cardinals played their home opener on Monday night, falling to the rival Princeton Lady Tigers by a score of 4-3. Mercer opens HDC Conference play on Tuesday night at Winston. Â Their opening tournament of the season, scheduled for Saturday at Ridgeway, was rained out.
