Macon sweeps trophies at Chillicothe Invite, Trenton 10th

The Macon Tigers, with a team score of 309, took the championship at last week’s Chillicothe Invitational Golf Tournament, with the Tigers besting the runner-up score of 324 from Maryville, with St. Joseph Lafayette in third place at 336.  Host Chillicothe was fourth place with a score of 340.  South Harrison’s 355 was 7th place, with the Trenton Bulldogs 10th at 370, and Brookfield in 11th place at 400.

Macon’s Hagen Ritter won medalist honors at the Green Hills Golf Course with a round of 73, one stroke better than teammate Britton Wineinger at 74.  Jacob Stott of Maryville joined Jackson Trout of Chillicothe and Brady Stice of Cameron in a third place tie at 76.  Caden Littrell had South Harrison’s best score at 78, tying him with Macon’s Dalton Cashatt and Lafayette’s Jackson Compton in 6th place.

Trenton scores in the 18 hole tournament were Riley Gott (83/17th place), Kiefer Tolson (87/21st place), Hunter Ledgerwood (98/45th place), Bo Meeker (102/53rd place), and Jake Schmadeke (127/70th place).
