LeBlond wins own golf tournament, Trenton 4th, Penney 6th, Chillicothe 8th

The Bishop LeBlond Golden Eagles, playing at the Fairview Golf Course in St. Joseph, shot a team score of 303 to win Monday’s LeBlond Tournament.  Maryville was runner-up at 324, followed by St. Pius X in third place at 334, and fourth-place Trenton’s 340.  The Penney High School Hornets, with a score of 346, finished in sixth place, with Cameron in 7th place at 350, and Chillicothe in eighth place at 355.

Individually, Brooks Jungbluth of LeBlond was medalist at 74.  Grant Boudreau of LeBlond tied Jack McKay of Savannah for second place, both at 75. Penney’s Ethan Green shot a 76, good for a fourth place tie.  Wyatt Gregory of Penney, with an 80, tied Trenton’s Nate Swann for 8th place.

Other area scores, in descending order, were Lawson’s Cody Glenn at 82, Trenton’s Cree Mullenix at 83, Lawson’s Tanner Smith at 84, Chillicothe’s duo of Cade Snyder and Trevor Bowling, both at 86, Cameron’s Chase Foreman, Trenton’s Lathan Croy, and Chillicothe’s Peyton Moritz, all at 88, Cameron’s Tanner Slorer and Trenton’s Corbyn Guile at 89, Nick Hertley of Hamilton at 91, Cameron’s Spencer Teel with a 92, Cameron’s Kyler Hill at 93, Lawson’s Jacob Taylor at 94, Chillicothe’s Hayden Montgomery at 95, and Trenton’s Luke Lewis with 97.
