The Lawson Cardinals allowed the first run of Tuesday night’s baseball test against the Trenton Bulldogs, before roaring back with 14 unanswered tallies, winning by a 14-1 run-rule shortened final at Lawson High School.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the first inning, with Gabe Novak coming across the plate. Lawson quickly answered with a pair of two spots, in the home 1st and 2nd innings, before blowing the game open with five runs in the 3rd and five more in the 4th. Â
Cole had five RBI’s for LHS, with leadoff hitter Chapman going 3-for-3 with four runs scored and four RBI’s.
