The North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates traveled to the campus of Jefferson College on Saturday, for a softball doubleheader against the Region 16 rival Lady Vikings.
NCMC dropped the opener 10-8 and took the second game 9-5, moving to 6-2 in Region XVI play, at 16-8 on the season. Â Amber Austin paced the offense for the visitors, cracking three home runs and amassing 5 RBI’s over the course of the double-dip. Â In game 2, Georgia Gibler added a long ball.
Jessica Stupar picked up the Game 2 win to improve to 6-3, scattering six innings in a complete game.
