The North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates have started the 2018-2019 basketball season 0-2, coming off of a Friday night loss to Fort Scott Community College (75-66) and a Saturday afternoon set-back against 5th ranked Johnson County Community College 81-61, with both games played at Cavalier Fieldhouse on the Johnson County campus in Overland Park, Kansas.

In  Friday night’s opener, sophomore Hailey Burrows led NCMC with 19 points, while in Game #2, Dymeria Guillory had 18 points to lead North Central.

While praising her teams’ level of competition over the weekend, Lady Pirate Coach Jenni Croy noted that one bad quarter did in NCMC in both games, and in order to win against high-level teams, four quarters of playing well area needed.

The Lady Pirates begin their home schedule on Tuesday night, hosting Ellsworth Community College in a 5:30 tip at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton, with coverage hitting the air at 5:20 on Hot Country Z 101.7.
