The NCMC Women’s Golf Team recently competed in the Peru State Spring Invitational at Table Creek Golf Course in Nebraska City, NE. The Lady Pirates secured a solid 3rd place finish out of 8 teams, showcasing their skills over the weekend.
Their performance was consistent, with a team score of 355 on Friday and 364 on Saturday. Despite facing challenging conditions, they displayed determination and resilience throughout the event.
Kennedy Dickerson emerged as a standout performer for NCMC, securing 4th place overall and earning a medal. Her impressive rounds of 78 and 88, with the first round being a career-best by 7 shots, demonstrated her skill and composure on the course.
Mollee Olszowka also had a strong showing, finishing 9th overall and claiming a medal with scores of 88 and 92. Haley Baskett followed closely, securing 11th place with a 36-hole total of 182.
Skyler Powers displayed remarkable improvement, climbing 6 spots on the leaderboard during the final round to finish in 18th place with a two-day tally of 191.
Looking ahead, the Pirates will continue their competitive season at the William Penn Spring Statesmen Invitational in Oskaloosa, IA on April 15th-16th.
