Lady Pirate golf adds two Centralia High School products

CENTRALIA, Mo. (NCMCPirates.com) – ReaLee Smith and Kennedy Dickerson out of Centralia High School has signed their national letter of intent to play golf and will enroll at North Central Missouri College in the Fall. Dickerson and Smith led the Lady Panthers to a 3rd place team finish at the 2021 Class 1 State Golf Championships which was the first in program history.

“ReaLee and Kennedy are great additions for our Women’s Golf program and I’m very excited that they chose NCMC as their destination!” said head coach Nate Swann, who continued, “They are hard workers on the golf course and in the classroom which is exactly what you want to see from students coming into our program. ReaLee and Kennedy also have an outstanding work ethic and they have had an incredible resume throughout their High School careers to back that up. To say I am excited for ReaLee and Kennedy to be a part of our golf program is an understatement.”

Kennedy Dickerson was a 2-time State Qualifier for Centralia and improved on her positioning as a Senior finishing 33rd in Class 1. Kennedy also placed 2nd in the 2021-2022 Class 1 District 4 Tournament earning All-District with a score of 89 at Norwoods Golf Club in Hannibal, MO. Dickerson played #2 for Centralia her Junior and Senior years in High School and made huge improvements in her short game and putting through that stretch.

ReaLee Smith was a 2-time State medalist for Centralia placing 6th in the 2020 Class 1 State Golf Championships at Paradise Pointe in Smithville, MO and backed it up with an 8th place finish at State in 2021 at Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar, MO. Smith was also a 2020 Class 1 District 4 Champion firing an 82 which led to the Lady Panthers to a 2nd place finish at Districts. ReaLee was also the Individual Champion at 3 tournaments throughout her High School career.
