The Chillicothe Lady Hornets defeated the Carrollton Lady Trojans in volleyball action on Tuesday night, 25-17, 25-11, 25-23. CHS had a strong game from the service line, with Izzie Montgomery picking up 12 aces, Essie Hicks 11, and Jessica Reeter 10.
Gracie West and Maya Snyder combined for 19 kills, as Chillicothe improves to 3-1.
Trenton High School’s volleyball team was scheduled to return from a COVID-19 related quarantine on Wednesday afternoon, with a slew of home matches awaiting the Lady Bulldogs.
Gallatin’s softball team was placed on quarantine late last week due to a positive COVID-19 test in the program. The first game back for the Lady Bulldogs will be Tuesday, September 22nd.

Trenton High School athletic director John Cowling has announced the addition of two events for Lady Bulldog sports next week. On Wednesday, September 23rd, the Lady Bulldogs tennis team travels to St. Joseph for the Lafayette Invitational, starting at 8:30 AM at the Noyes Complex. The junior varsity/volleyball doubleheader with Wellington-Napoleon will be played on Wednesday, September 23rd at the Trenton High School gymnasium. The JV match starts at 5, with the varsity match to follow. The varsity match will be aired live on KTTN FM 92.3.
