Just one day after announcing that Elmarko Jackson would miss all of next season due to injury, the Kansas Jayhawks have added Mississippi State transfer guard Shakeel Moore to the 2024-2025 roster.

Moore joins Bill Self’s program after averaging 7.9 points per game for MSU last year.  He started 22 games for the Bulldogs.  The native of Greensboro, North Carolina started his career at North Carolina State before spending three seasons in Starkville.  He shot 36.3% from three-point range as a senior.  He will have one season as a graduate student at KU.
