For Classes 1 through 3, the final week of the high school basketball season has arrived, with teams scrambling to fill dates strewn about by the slew of weather-related postponements from the past month. While some Class 1 teams will open district play on Saturday, most area teams will begin post-season play on either Monday, February 18th and Tuesday, February 19th.
For the Trenton Bulldog wrestlers, last weekend’s District 3 tournament at Higginsville saw good success, with three young men advancing to the Class 1 state tournament in Columbia, while of those falling just short of that goal, strong improvement was seen to the finish of their seasons.
