King City’s Olivia Law, Gallatin Bulldogs win GRC golf titles, two Trenton Bulldogs earn all-conference medals

King City High School’s Olivia Law shot an 86 on Chillicothe’s Green Hills Golf Course on Monday, winning the Grand River Conference girl’s golf individual title.  Law is the only golfer playing for the Lady Wildkats this fall, and continued her exemplary season with Monday’s victory.

The Gallatin Lady Bulldogs won the team title with a score of 409, followed by the Trenton Lady Bulldogs runner-up score of 422.  Kylie Gannon of South Harrison shot 93 for the runner-up score, with Taylor Rardon of Gallatin shooting 96 for the third place score, with her teammate, Megan Cox, shooting 97 for fourth place.  Gallatin had four top-ten finishes, as Kelli Lynch, at 107, was 8th place, and Taylor Sloan, with a 109, finishing in 10th.

Stanberry’s Allie Gage finished third, tied with Gallatin’s Cox, at 97, while two Trenton Lady Bulldogs, Kaitlyn Mounce and Werthen Gass, shot identical 100’s, finishing tied for 6th, and earning all-conference honors in the first season in the GRC for the Lady Bulldogs.  Stanberry’s Alison Marticke shot 108 for 9th place.  Maysville’s Chelsy Meek, at 110, finished 11th.

Trenton’s Hannah Kennebeck, at 110, finished one stroke away from all-conference honors, in a 11th place tie.  Lana Raymo shot 112 (for 13th place) and Jordain Oshel 122 (16th place) for THS.

Other schools in the field were Putnam County, Albany, Braymer, and Worth County.
