National Women’s Soccer League (NWCL) club Kansas City Current has reached an agreement with railway company CPKC for the naming rights of the team’s home grounds. The 10 year agreement will connect the Current with Kansas City-based CPKC, recently formed to connect Canada, the United States, and Mexico with a decided international railway.
The public gathering space in front of the CPKC Stadium will also be named after the railway company bearing the name CPKC Plaza, which will welcome guests prior to KC Current matches and other events such as concerts hosted by the venue.
