The Chillicothe Lady Hornets welcomed Penney High School and Southwest Livingston High School to the Green Hills Golf Course on Monday for triangular action. Chillicothe’s Hallie Jones had a medalist total of 40, a full 10 strokes better than the 50 from runner-up Makenna Campbell of Southwest. Brooklyn Williams and Skyler Powers of Chillicothe finished in a third-place tie at 56, with Somers Finch of Hamilton and Lily Webb of Southwest both shooting 61.
Chillicothe’s score of 222 bested Penney’s 263. Southwest had only two golfers (Campbell and Webb), not enough to post a team tally.
