Long-time University of Missouri baseball coach Tim Jamieson announced his resignation on Saturday, ending 22 years at MU.  Jamieson’s teams won 698 games during his tenure, with eight All-Americans and 10 Freshman All-Americans making their way through the Mizzou baseball program.

Jamieson coached Major League Baseball standouts Max Scherzer, Ian Kinsler, Aaron Crow, and Kyle Gibson, part of a total of 10 former MU players, under Jamieson, to have made it to the Big Leagues.

Mizzou’s administration is exploring the possibility to Jamieson staying on staff at the university in an administrative role.  Mizzou will begin a nationwide search for Jamieson’s replacement immediately.
