The Kansas City Chiefs lost tight end Jody Fortson to a right knee injury during Sunday’s 27-20 win at Las Vegas, with the veteran injured during an onside kick attempt.  He was unable to put weight on his right leg in the postgame locker room.

In addition to Fortson’s injury, cornerback Nazeeh Johnson suffered a concussion during the first half and did not return.  With Johnson’s exit, Joshua Williams and Christian Rolland-Wallace saw more playing time in the second half.

In the week preceding the Raiders game, Kansas City placed wide receiver Skyy Moore was placed on injured reserve due to a core muscle injury, placing his future with the team through 2025 and beyond in doubt.

The Chiefs announced the signing of cornerback Keith Taylor to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.  Cornerback Jaylen Watson, with a fractured ankle, went to injured reserve.  The team re-signed quarterback Chris Oladokun and returned former fifth-round draft pick, wide receiver Cornell Powell, to the practice squad.
