Nebraska’s offensive line is getting a significant boost with the addition of Preston Taumua, a highly-rated four-star offensive lineman from Hawaii. Taumua announced his commitment to Nebraska in a live stream with 247Sports on Sunday.
Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, Taumua had attracted offers from several other top schools, including Oregon and Alabama, among others, as reported by 247Sports.
With his commitment, Taumua becomes the fifth four-star recruit in Nebraska’s 2024 class, joining fellow standout players Carter Nelson, Roger Gradney, and Dae’vonn Hall. This recruitment is expected to bolster the Cornhuskers’ offensive line and strengthen the team’s overall talent pool for the coming seasons.
