The Chillicothe Lady Hornets downed the Trenton Lady Bulldogs in Tuesday afternoon tennis action on the Hornets home court by a score of 8-1.
Trenton’s only varsity win came in the #1 doubles match, with Astrid Soriano combining with Lydia Leininger for a hard-fought 9-7 win over Chillicothe’s Rylee Washburn and Isabella Garr.
The Lady Hornets dominated the rest of the matches, with an 8-1 win for Cami Carpenter and Madison Kieffer over Jillian Voorhies and Chloie Hall, while Bryton BeVelle and Anna Pfaff routed Kaytee Wright and Faith Lee 8-2.
In singles competition, Cami Carpenter defeated Astrid Soriano 8-6, Rylee Washburn over Lydia Leininger 8-2, Isabella Garr over Jillian Voorhies 8-2, Bryton BeVelle over Chloie Hall 8-1, Madison Kieffer over Kaytee Wright 8-2, and Micah Crowe over Faith Lee 8-3.
