The Grundy R-V and Newtown-Harris cooperative program will host a softball camp for interested children in the district on Saturday, August 24th at the Galt Ballfield.
Camp times will be 8:30 to 10 o’clock in the morning for 2nd through 5th graders, followed by 10 to 11:30 in the morning for 6th through 8th graders. The camp will be run by varsity softball coach Taron Loyd.
Over in Milan, the Lady Cats softball program will be hosting an alumni slow-pitch game on Saturday (August 24th) at 10 o’clock in the morning at Legion Field. Questions on the game can be directed to Milan varsity softball coach Sara Webb or assistant coach Brittney Peterie.
