The Grundy R-V softball team is playing well of late, with the exception of the two separate challenges presented to the Galt team by the powerhouse HDC Conference program at North Harrison, with the Shamrocks beating the Panthers twice over the course of three days.
The Grundy girls picked up a conference win at Winston on Tuesday, September 5th, another victory over the Redbirds in the HDC Tournament on Saturday, with an 11-4 win over Mercer earning the Lady Panthers third place in that event in Bethany.
This week, Grundy R-V is at Tri-County on Tuesday night, hosts Mercer on Thursday, and travels to Southwest Livingston on Friday.

In only their second season as a fall program, the Grundy R-V baseball team is still very much “learning the ropes”, while dealing with tough, seasoned competition from the likes of LaPlata and Green City.
However, the Panthers have zeroed on on a Tuesday night game at Tri-County as an opportunity to get an elusive victory, with the Mustangs in the same “building the program” mode as Grundy.
