The Grundy County Panthers defeated the Novinger Wildcats on Friday night in Galt, 15-13, improving to 2-5 on the fall baseball season.
Wayne Baxter earned the win with 6 2/3 innings, allowing 13 runs, with seven walks and three strikeouts. Â Andrew Garcia got the final out for the save.
Blake Foster led the Panther offense with two home runs, four RBI’s, and three hits. Â Austin Eckert had three hits and five RBI’s, while Carter Searcy had three hits and two RBI’s.
